The ability to meet the physical demands of stooping, kneeling, sitting in low/small chairs or the floor, and transferring/lifting/ carrying a child. Must complete pre-employment requirements for a licensed childcare center: drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprint background check. The Assistant will be asked to engage in a wide variety of events during the day-to-day workings of the school ranging from, but not limited to assisting children in daily activities, feeding, learn self-care routines (bathroom, hygiene, etc.), and facilitating play and language development.

The assistant must be willing to take directives from a supervising lead and/or building administrator. The assistant must have a passion for serving young children. An Infant/Toddler Assistant Caregiver is an individual who assists the lead in helping ensure that each and every one of our student's individual needs are met.
